BajanNav V2.01 - with the new Warrens road layout!

Following close on the heels of Version 2, we now have Version 2.01 of John Mann's BajanNav - still free, still the best map of Barbados. All registered users have already been sent an email informing them of the update.

After many months of work, we've just published BajanNav Version 2 - bigger and better in every way! All registered users will receive an "update" email in the next 24 hours or so.

Here at AccuNav, we've been working hard for the past few months, on Version 2 of John Mann's BajanNav. It will be published very soon - and, as soon as it is, we'll be informing all registered users by email. Won't be long!

BajanNav V01.07 Published 10 May

John Mann's BajanNav V01.07 is now available - all registered users will receive an email containing the link to the new file. New roads have been added, over 800 more roads have been named, and some minor errors have been corrected.

BajanNav now has more POIs than ever before - including Banks and Heineken bars, and FirstCarribean Banks and ATMs. The download is complete with the Sol Rally Spectator POI file, showing the positions of scrutineering and all the stages. Now, for historians and hikers, BajanNav even shows the route of the Barbados Railway, closed in 1937 but still easily visible on the ground.

BajanNav supporting Sol Rally Barbados

We are pleased to announce that AccuNav Ltd will be providing gps support for Sol Rally Barbados 2011 - billed as "The Best Rally in the World"- which will take place over the weekend 4-5 June. Check the BajanNav website for details in the next few days - we will have a special POI file available, for use with John Mann's BajanNav, enabling spectators to find all the important rally locations easily.

If you're visiting Barbados for Sol Rally and renting a car, we suggest you also pre-book the rental of a Garmin Sat Nav from your car rental company. Alternatively, bring your own Garmin - John Mann's BajanNav, and the Sol Rally Spectators' POIs, are both free to download, and AccuNav agents UTurn Sales will be on-hand in Barbados to provide BajanNav on SD card  if you don't want to install it yourself.
