New 2.04 version of BajanNav for Garmin!

Ready for the New Year, we have just published Version 2.04 of BajanNav for Garmin.

V2.04 includes the new Welches roundabout, together with many other additions and revisions. Furthermore, the list of Points of Interest is steadily increasing - remember that, by going to "Where To - Extras" on your Garmin, you see a picture and full details of points of interest.

Over the next couple of days, all registered users will receive an email informing them of the update - if you can't wait, simply log-in to the BajanNav Store at www.BajanNav.com, go to "Your Orders", and download the new BajanNav for Garmin file.

BajanNav for Garmin V2.03

On 26 July, we released Version 2.03 of BajanNav - the map of Barbados - for Garmin devices.

As usual, the new version includes roads of new developments, together with 600 more named roads (almost all roads are now named!) and a number of corrected errors. We also have many more Points of Interest - BajanNav is becoming a good directory of Barbados including details, photos and locations of the best restaurants, hotels, shops and other companies on the island.

BajanNav for Windows released!

Now, you can have an interactive map of Barbados on your Windows PC!
Imagine having on your computer an interactive map of Barbados, which you can view in 2-D or 3-D, zoom in or out, and move around with your mouse. Add to that address search, a business directory, a tracking system, a messaging system, and traffic monitoring, and you have an idea of what John Mann's BajanNav for Windows PC is like. Soon, you can have an interactive map of Barbados on your PC!

We are presently in the final stages of development of the PC version of BajanNav, using the CityGuide navigation program. It runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7, and has the same search and routing facilities as the Garmin and Android versions of BajanNav. Listen out for more news in the next few days!

We've been noticing more and more people using BajanNav/CityGuide as we see traffic speeds being reported, especially in the south-west of the island. The application also enables you to inform other users of traffic jams or incidents, and there is also the facility to track other users - with their permission, of course!

BajanNav supports Sol Rally Barbados 2012

BajanNav is pleased to be supporting Sol Rally Barbados 2012, having produced POI files for both spectators and competitors. The POI files include all the important points, including the special stages and suggested vantage points for spectators. New for this year, we have also published the routes of the Stages online, on an interactive map. Go to www.accu-nav.com/spaces/ to download the POI file and see the maps.

BajanNav V02.02 Published

Yesterday, 29th February, we published John Mann's BajanNav V02.02. Version 2.01 was good - Version 2.02 is even better! Over 1000 revisions and additions, more road names, more POIs. It even has the brand-new "Sandbox" roundabout.
